The origin of the dulcimer music of the Jánošíček Children Folklore Ensemble has been closely linked with the ensemble’s origins. Just as in the dancing section of the ensemble, also here many generations has taken their turns. Members of the music section have been devoted to folklore since their early childhood and have tried, through the folk-song, to share love, strength and wisdom that have strong roots deep in the folk-song. The musicians are aged from 8 to 25 years. The music mainly deals with folklore material from the regions of Slovakia and south of Moravia. The music section accompanies the dancers and singers at their performances and also, in standalone version, also enriches the programme with beautiful music appearances. The dulcimer music recorded a CD „Zahraj mi muzička pekne“ on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the ensemble in 2003 and CD “Z kade, tade” on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the ensemble in 2008.
